Product Introduction
Threaded tube, also known as low-fin tube, primarily enhances heat transfer area through external finning (with a fin efficiency factor of 2-3). It is generally used in situations where the internal heat transfer coefficient is more than double that of the external heat transfer coefficient. For condensation and boiling on the outside of the tube, due to the effect of surface tension, it exhibits good enhancement. The use of threaded tubes in conjunction with baffle rods can eliminate the vibration issue of heat exchange tubes. Moreover, compared to transverse flow heat exchangers with segmental baffles, the heat transfer coefficient is increased by approximately 30%, and the pressure drop across the tube bundle is reduced by about 50%.
